Jungle Nymph Stick Insect, (Heteropteryx dilatata "Yellow")

Common name - Jungle Nymph Stick Insect "Yellow"
Scientific name - Heteropteryx dilatata "Yellow"

This listing is for 5 EGGS, of the heaviest stick insect species in the world. The adult females reach 15cm in body length and are well-known for their incredible ability to produce a 'hissing' sound using their wings when feeling threatened.

This is for a special pedigree called "Yellow", which is a selectively bred bloodline of the rarely occurring yellow jungle nymphs which is a stark contrast to the regular green jungle nymphs currently available in the hobby. Individuals from yellow bloodlines of jungle nymphs remain green like regular jungle nymphs in their juvenile nymphal stages, but become yellow upon reaching adulthood.

These are CAPTIVE BRED, with this stock originating from Malaysia, Asia. The food plants for this species are bramble, raspberry, oak, beech, etc.
