The listing is for bulk quantities of beetle larva, of the Chiron Rhinoceros Beetle which are characterised by their impressive 3 horns + metallic green colouration. This is the largest rhino beetle species in Asia, and grows 1.5x bigger than its cousin - Chalcosoma atlas.

These are CAPTIVE BRED, with this stock originating from South East Asia.

Like many members of the rhino/stag beetle families, the males of this species possess large horns/mandibles used in wrestling matches with rival males, while females lack these structures. The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood.
