Common name - Antler Flower Beetle
Scientific name - Dicronocephalus wallichi bourgoini
The listing is for 1x beetle larva,of a RARE, unusual flower beetle species which possesses two large horns, much like a stag beetle.
Larvae are exceptionally fast growing as they can reach the pupation stage in as little as 3 months (approx. 9 months for other flower beetles this size), and should be kept in slightly drier and cooler conditions once they do.
These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Taiwan.
The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood.
