Scientific name - Mecynorrhina torquata ugandensis "Flame Wings"

The listing is for 1x beetle larva, of a popularly kept species of giant flower beetle from Africa. This species is famous for the wide variety of colours they can come in, ranging from green, orange, blue to purple.

This is a special pedigree, which has been selectively bred for their pure blue/black colour that is accompanied with red/pink highlights on their wings.

These are CAPTIVE BRED in my collection, with this stock originating from Uganda.

The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood and leaf litter.
