The listing is for 1x beetle larva, of a highly sought after species of Stag Beetle that is famous for their metalic, rainbow colouration as adults.

This is the special "Ghost Eye" pedigree which is a selectively bred bloodline that has been carefully selected by Japanese pro-breeders for a mutation that makes its eyes white. Furthermore, this "Ghost Eye" pedigree has further been selected for its red body colour.

These are CAPTIVE BRED, with this stock originating from Queensland in Australia.

Like many members of the rhino/stag beetle families, the males of this species possess large horns/mandibles used in wrestling matches with rival males, while females lack these structures. The adult beetles feed on a variety of fruits such as banana, apple, pear, peach and watermelon. The larvae feed on decaying wood.
